A total of over £90,000 pounds was raised in the Charity Walk organised by Majlis Ansarullah held on Sunday the 13th June 2010. Over 2000 members took part in the event which included Ansar, Lajna, Khuddam, Atfal and guests from outside the Jamaat.
A cheque presentation ceremony took place after the completion of the walk where representatives from different charities were present...
An opportunity for people from all communities to come together for this 10 mile walk, in support of various UK charities, including 2 of the Birmingham Mayoral charities - The Birningham fund for Pancreatic Research and St Basils.....
The chosen venue for this year's Charity Walk is Birmingham city and the walk is scheduled to commence on June the 13th 2010. The starting point is from Masjid Darulbarkat, Birmingham and as in the past the pre-Charity Walk dinner was held on Saturday 1st May 2010 at the Birmingham Council House. The proceeding for this began very early in the day startig with Ansarullah National Amla's meeting at Masjid Darulbarkat. As per our tradition the meeting began with the recitation from The Holy Quran followed by Ansaruullah pledge.....
