Ansarullah National Amla meeting was held at Masjid Darulbarkat. Meeting began at 11.00am with the recitation from The Holy Quran
followed by Ansarullah pledge and silent prayer. Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Ch.Waseem Ahmed presided. Various items were discussed
including Village Tabligh campaign, Safe Doam Wassiyyat campaign, Salat Reports and Tarbiyyat issues, Finance and Pre Charity
Dinner preparations. Meeting was followed by lunch and Zohr & Asar prayers.
After the prayers the members made their way outside to inspect the location within the vicinity of the mosque where the marquee
is to be erected on the actual day of Charity Walk. The organizers presented their proposals and recommendations to Sadr Majlis
which were inspected and discussed by the Amla members.
The members of Majlis-e-Amla with the local organizing committee then returned to resume the second session of the meeting which
mainly concentrated on full arrangements and details of the actual Charity Walk to take place on Sunday the 13th June. The meeting
was chaired by the in-charge of the Charity Walk Mansoor Kahlon with Syed Imtiaz Ahmed, Regional Nazim Midlands Region . Each and
every item, job responsibilities and various factors were discussed in detail and full plans were drafted to ensure all aspects of
the Charity Walk were covered ranging from preparation to be made a day before of the walk, arrangements on the actual day starting
with breakfast in the morning, Registration, the Route of the Walk, Transport, Medical Assistance, Lunch and through to closing
ceremonies of the Charity presentations. After the end of the meeting the members made their way to the Birmingham Council House
to attend the Pre Charity Walk dinner.
The Birmingham Council House is situated in the heart of Birmingham City and it is where this year's Pre Charity Walk dinner was arranged.
Its an historic complex and the hall where the dinner was arranged is very traditional and well presented.
The local organizing committee under the leadership of Syed Imtiaz Ahmed Regional Nazim Midlands, had made
excellent arrangements. There were around 200 guests including Lord Mayor & Mayoress of Birmingham, Lord
Mayor & Mayoress of Royal Leamington Spa, Mayor of Sandwell, and representatives of 14 charities, various
councilors, candidates and dignitaries.
The proceedings started under the chairmanship of National President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK
Rafiq Ahmad Hayat Sb with the recitation from the Holy Quran. A brief introduction was read out by
Ch Waseem Ahmed Sadr Ansarullah which was then followed by short speeches by the three Mayors, charity
representatives and a Liberal Democratic Party candidate. All praised the noble efforts of Ahmadiyya
Muslim Association in promotion of peace and harmony in the society and serving humanity. Route was
presented by Syed Imtiaz Ahmad. The session concluded with closing remarks from Mr Rafiq Ahmad Hayat,
National President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK followed by silent prayer and Dinner.
